Guidelines
Manuscripts should be written in English. Either British or American spelling are acceptable, but they should not be mixed. Authors whose native language is not English are strongly advised to have their manuscripts checked by an English native speaker prior to submission. If needed, our text revisor Federico Poole, fpoole@tiscali.it , will correct and revise the text.
Articles may vary in length from 15,000 a 60,000 characters, spaces and footnotes included. The coordinators can send to the editorial board and to the referees articles longer than 60,000 characters only for the section “Research”.
Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word or RTF format using the following character sizes and attributes:
- Text: Times New Roman 11, Normal.
- Notes: Times New Roman 9, Normal.
- Tables/Graphs: Times New Roman 9, Normal, Small Caps.
Every page of the manuscript should be numbered. Manuscripts should be laid out in the following order:
- Title. It should be clear, descriptive and not too long. The editors reserve the right to modify the titles both of the article and of its subsections
- Name(s) of author(s). If there are two or more authors, their names should be separated by a comma
- Complete postal address(es) of affiliations Full telephone, fax
number and
e-mail of the corresponding author - Present address(es) of author(s) if different from previous one
- Fax number or complete mail address to which proofs should be sent
- Abstract. It should be clear, descriptive, and no longer than 400 words
- Graphs and Tables
- Illustrations
- Footnotes
